Heidi carries Trey “African style”

In West Africa every child is carried on his mother’s back from the first days after birth until he or she is too heavy for the mother to carry.

Today I spoke at a missions conference at Tampa Baptist and some of our friends from West Africa, David and Thora Broyle were there too. Thora showed Heidi how to put Trey on her back the way the Togolese do it. At first Trey wasn’t too happy with the new position, but after a couple minutes he stopped squirming and began to smile. Then he was fast asleep.
