Trey, Heidi, and I went to Atlanta yesterday to pick up Alexandra Darriet. Alexandra, or Alex, is the daughter of my highschool french teacher. I’ve visited and stayed with the Darriets in France twice before. First in 2000, with my friends Ed Martin, Shane McBride, and Blane Tarr. Then in 2002 Heidi and I stayed with them for two weeks. We’re going to repay the favor and will be “hosting” her for the next four weeks. We’ll give her a nice tour of the Southeast.

Trey is doing his darndest to pronounce her 4 syllable name and is also trying to speak French. It just comes out as “blah blah blah” with a French accent.
