Ocmulgee Annual Indian Celebration

Each year Ocmulgee National Monument hosts a two-day Indian Celebration. Native Americans from all over North America come to perform traditional dances, demonstrate ancient crafts and survival techniques, tell stories, and sell steak sandwiches.

The dancing was by far the best thing at the event. Trey was mesmerized by it and developed quite the crush on an 8 year-old dancer who was wearing a dress covered in bells. Click the image below for a slideshow of the Trey’s adventures at Ocmulgee today.
