Yesterday was Trey’s last day of school for the year (yea, they really cut December short!) and the classes had Christmas parties in the afternoon. Trey’s class joined the other 4K kids and sang songs, recited Scripture, and shared poems.

Trey has really enjoyed school this year and will sorely miss it over the holiday. I’ll miss the stories he shares with me after school. Things like “Cameron says she eats at McDonalds but I told her it was yucky food.” or “Emma Kate is a liar. She says she’s a super hero. I’m the only super hero. [pauses in thought] Can girls be super heroes?”
