The day after Christmas we headed 2 1/2 hours north to Heidi’s grand parents’ property where the family’s cabin is located in some swampy Florida marshlands. The whole family went up and had a great time roasting hotdogs and smores over an open fire.

Unfortunately our time there was short as we had to get back to meet my parents in Macon and for Heidi to return to work.
