Wonderworks in Pigeon Forge, TN (Feb 2012)

I waaaay late in posting these, but it was such a fun experience that I had to put them up. My cousin’s wife recommended that on our vacation in the Gatlinburg area we take Trey to Wonderworks. It’s an indoor amusement park of sorts. Having worked in that area for a couple years in and after college, I have a bit of an aversion to the theaters and attractions in that area. Glad I listened to her though!

We’d been hiking in the mountains and on this day it there was a steady drizzle so it was perfect to go indoors. Having rented our great cabin from CabinsUSA, we got a “welcome packet” that had a great coupon to save us several bucks off the Wonderworks price of admission.

Trey was running non-stop from one activity station to the next. Some of our favorites were the Ropes Challenge Course and the Bubble Room. We also played laser tag, but as expected, the time allotted wasn’t enough. I also think Trey was a bit disappointed that he couldn’t actually “see” lasers shooting from the guns like they do in cartoons.

Next time we’re in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg on a rainy day, I’m definitely heading back to Wonderworks with Trey!
