This past weekend our family went downtown for one of Macon’s “First Fridays.” We visited an art exhibit at The 567 Center where we saw local musician Amy Godwin perform a short set. Amy is a local singer/songwriter whose voice is like honey-drenched manna from heaven. We’ve been listening to her sing a lot this year as she provided the backup vocals for one of our favorite albums of the year: Valley Maker (follow that link, listen to the album, buy the album, tell all your friends about it).
Trey attended the event with his Super Trey cape on (bringing many a smile to strangers’ faces). After the show I was filming Amy singing some songs in a nearby alley when Trey made a guest appearance at the end. Watch it below:
