Here are the pictures we took the last couple nights in our living room. We went to several professional pregnancy photographers’ websites and printed out their shots that we liked best. Then we tried to mimic their compositions and lighting. With a little help from Photoshop we didn’t do so bad!
I am in tears! I am so mad that I am not there. What love! You two are amazing and you can totally see the love you have for eachother and baby Trey in these photos. I love the one with his arms wrapped around you, the beautiful one of Heidi with the white linen sweeping behind her, and of course Trey’s gaurdian, Buster, checking him out in his mama’s belly. They came out wonderful. I love you guys and I hope you are doing well.
Hey guys,
I guess it’s any day now – so I wanted to drop you guys a line to wish you God’s blessings on the truly remarkable experience you both (actually, all three!) are about to go through.
My only piece of advice is, if you don’t already, have a handful of song lyrics memorized. When Henry was born, the only song Jess and I both knew all the words to was Kenny Rogers "The Gambler." Needless to say, we must have sung that stupid song 400 times in the first 2 weeks.
Anyway, early congratulations to you and I’m sure there’ll be no shortage of baby pictures to gander at soon!
Take care!
The pictures are absolutely stunning! I’m so jealous – I had wanted to get some professional looking belly photos done. Y’all will really treasure those pictures. (I’m also a little envious, by the way, to see that Heidi is still wearing her rings! I still haven’t gotten mine back on yet.)
You three will definitely be in our thoughts and prayers as we await news of Trey’s arrival. You guys are going to be the most amazing and fun parents. I hope we can meet up in Atlanta over Christmas.
By the way…my thanks go out to Sarah Span and Christine Maisano for the use of their maternity clothes (as sported in my pregnancy photos). Thanks to them, I had to buy very few of my own items. Of course, my mom also enjoyed providing for my expanding belly…so my thanks goes to all three.
